Sebastián Alvarado Brumm

He took a course in screenwriting at the CCC film school in Mexico City and various workshops and laboratories in production and film direction with professors Samuel Larsen, Ricardo Benet and Alberto Becerril Montekio, among others. He participated in the 2nd Morelia International Film Festival (FICM) with his short fiction film Pajarito volando (2004). His documentary short film TLC Caravana Nacional (2008) was part of the Official Selection at the 4th Indigenous Film and Video Festival of Michoacán (FECVI). He won a Special Mention at the 5th FECVI for his short film Kuali an Ajxic Patu Xalipan (Bienvenidos a nuestras playas) (2009), that was also part of the Official Selection of the 13th Native American Film + Video Festival (NAFVF) of the National Museum of the American Indian (NMAI) of the Smithsonian Institution, New York, and the 2nd “Cinema Planeta” International Film and Environment Festival, Morelos, among others.
