She studied a B.A. in Cinematography at the Centro de Capacitación Cinematográfica (CCC), Mexico City. Her graduation project was Velvet (2016) and she collaborated as production designer of Contrafábula de una niña disecada (2013), directed by Alejandro Iglesias Mendizábal, which was part of the Cinéfondation section at the Cannes Film Festival. Her short film Años luz (2015), traveled to diverse festivals around the world, like the Sydney Latin American Film Festival, Australia; the SEHSÜCHTE Film Festival, Germany; the Cinema da Mare Film Festival, Italy; and it won the Audience Award for Best Short Film at the Carrousel International du film de Rimouski, Canada; and the Popular Jury Award at the Inter-American Festival of Student Film, Brazil. Her short documentary film La casa de los Lúpulos (2016), part of the Official Selection of the 14th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM), was presented in international festivals such as the Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG), the Monterrey International Film Festival (FICMonterrey), and it won Best Short Film at the Merida and Yucatan International Film Festival (FICMY). She is currently developing two feature film screenplays: Un poco de jardín and La enciclopedia de lo sublime. She is founder of the Estudio Polka production company.
