He studied film directing and screenwriting at the Bande à Part Film School, Barcelona, Spain. He participated in the 51st Krakow Film Festival (KFF), Poland, in the section “Konfrontacje”, with his short fiction film Purgatorio (2007). He participated with his first feature film Dios nunca muere (2012) in the 16th Guanajuato International Film Festival (GIFF) and in the 11th Mercado de Cine Iberoamericano in Guadalajara, at the 28th Guadalajara International Film Festival (FICG). His short film Sofía de Bucarest (2013) was part of the Official Selection at the 11th Morelia International Film Festival (FICM). He currently has been selected to compete in the 12th FICM with his feature film, Los Muertos (2014), a project that participated in the 3rd Riviera Maya Film Festival (RMFF), Quintana Roo, Mexico.
